My old man used a whippy cane like this on brothers and I - damn sore and he was an expert at it - then usually followed it up with a good strapping!!! We loved the endomorphin "rush" - often got it at 6 a.m. so had to sit on it all day in school - I wore a jock strap so there was no padding!!
